Sevii Islands and Postgame Unlocks
The remake-specific postgame structure adds more map variety, stronger teams, and fresh reasons to revisit the region after the Elite Four.
The Sevii Islands are the biggest structural addition in FireRed and LeafGreen. They create a second act for the remake by mixing quest progression, item unlocks, and new species access that were not part of the original Red and Blue adventure.
What opens up after the League
- Additional island travel and sidequest progression.
- More evolved Johto species through postgame content.
- A stronger Elite Four and Champion rematch path.
